A bit of help

Anyone know of a good topic for a research paper? Has to be at least able to write a 2000 word paper with the information provided but i need something big, any help is appreciated.

So far the topics ive thought of:
Addiction
Cell phones and traveling (driving etc)
Abortion
Weight-loss

O and I wouldnt use some of the things I mentioned, or you mentioned because they are overused :S

Yeah, i was given a list of the ones used in the last year or two, but they gave me ideas on how to targete a certain area such as addiction to prescription drugs or so.

Im still lost, maybe something on domestic violence?

I chose domestic violence and talked it over with my teacher, she agreed with the topic and told me to start on it. Thanks though, for the bit of help.

It's hard finding information I dont already have. Gone through maybe 30 sites and each one has almost all the same information >.<

Basically, my topic is domestic violence BUT there are different kinds of it.

Such as;
Physical Abuse
Mental or Emotional Abuse
Verbal Abuse
Economic Abuse
Spiritual Abuse
Sexual Abuse
Isolation Abuse

My teacher expects me to go into detail about each and every type yet i can't find any new information for each type, just what i found on the first sites. All i can find is symptoms and facts about it, which almost all sites about it have. ._.

Nah but, I figure ill just go with this and ask for some help from my teachers if i get stuck. It really isnt due till the end of February but its something I want out of the way.
